Carrie Moore, executive director

MS Communication, University of Utah; founder of The Bradley Center; board certified chaplain and veteran journalist. Duties – administration, policy and procedure development, oversight and organization of peer group grief support program; volunteer recruitment and training; board member recruitment, community outreach, marketing and office duties.

Janice Taylor, board chair

MBA, Brigham Young University; Bradley Center co-founder; former development director, LifeLine non-profit addiction recovery program; small business owner. Helps oversee volunteer training, leads peer group grief support, program development and fundraising.

Joella Gifford, Utah County Director

BS Sociology Brigham Young University. Founder of Utah Brighter Days, an organization serving grieving children and families.Tabitha’s Way Volunteer.

Gerri Hixenbaugh, board member Secretary

Gerri Hixenbaugh, M.S. in education from Utah State University. Retired educator. Past-president of the Utah Council of the International Literacy Association. Volunteered at the Bradley Center working with the “Littles.”

Brett Barrett, board member

School psychologist (Granite and Alpine school districts), Granite school district psychology coordinator, Granite school district crisis team member, University of Utah Department of Educational Psychology adjunct faculty member, Primary Children's Hospital inpatient psychiatric unit psychiatric specialist

Simone Black, board member

Simone Soffe Black is the Community Outreach Director for Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Homes. She earned a bachelor’s degree from BYU in public relations. She is president of the Utah Aging Alliance and volunteers with Utah Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, Community Nursing Services, Rocky Mountain Hospice and Intermountain Medical Center.

Alison Cole, board member

Hospice and home care employee for 10 years, and funeral services provider for 2 years. Bradley Center teen grief support group facilitator.

Sally Dyal, board member

B.S. in Special Education Brigham Young University. Taught at diagnostic kindergarten. Former property manager at Altaview LLC. Served as PTA treasurer on multiple boards. Currently Travel Advisor with Singletree Travel.

Greg Kemp, board member

MA Counseling, St. Mary’s University of San Antonio; BS Communication, University of Utah; former Bradley Center teen group facilitator; currently works in product management for a national healthcare company.

Valerie Lambert, clinical director

Master of Social Work, University of Utah; Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified in Thanatology (death studies). In Private practice with emphasis on bereavement counseling since 2001. Adjunct professor at University of Utah; Nursing/Gerontology Department.

Jolene Millet, Board Member

B.S. in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Utah Valley University. Former 2nd grade teacher, PTA president and community volunteer. Full time wife and mother to six children.

Kelly Purser, board member

Certified Public Accountant. Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Utah Association of Certified Public Accountants (UACPA). Partner, HJ & Associates, L.L.C. Has been involved with the Uptown Down’s organization.

Elizabeth Squires, board member

Attended Bible College in Texas and Oklahoma. Has worked in the senior care industry for 10 years and has served as a Home Care Administrator. She currently is the Director of Community Outreach at Larkin Mortuary.
